Located in Beersel just 15 km from Brussels, the Belgian brewery Drie Fonteinen remains faithful since its origins in 1953, to the elaboration and mixing of lambic beers (geuze, kriek, etc.) according to the traditional method, in Belgium.
Armand Debelder, son of the founder, was clear that it was worth betting on spontaneous fermentations, a style with centuries of history behind him.
Currently, the landscape has changed radically and if in the 90s the beers were on the verge of disappearance, they now enjoy the favor of an audience that seeks authentic and natural products. Drie Fonteinen is committed to the use of proximity ingredients and always respecting production times. In this sense, it is worth highlighting projects such as the recovery of native fruit species or the production of honey that they will later use to elaborate their classic products and at the same time to experiment.
