In biodynamics there are no recipes. Biodynamics is an impulse, an understanding, an inspiration. It entails a result, but the result is not the end.
There are many different processes of making wine, but before analyzing in detail each and every one of them – except commercial ones (or what we call the “technological process”) – we can see that the trend is to have none or just a minimum additional intervention compared to the natural process.
This past summer we visited Pinell de Brai, a village in the middle of Terra Alta area. It is known for his “wine cooperative”, built by the architect Cesar Martinell. This area is also well known due to Mendall wine maker, which establishment is just behind the wine cooperative.
